Ree Drummond’s Daughter Alex Welcomes Her Second Child

Ree Drummond’s family has a brand-new reason to celebrate!

Alex Drummond Scott, the eldest daughter of The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond, has welcomed her second child with her husband, Mauricio Scott. The couple is now officially parents to a baby boy, giving their daughter, Sofia, a new role as big sister.

Alex shared the happy news on Tuesday, September 15, revealing that their little boy, Charles Alexander Scott, has arrived. The newborn will lovingly be called Charlie.

“Our Charlie boy made his arrival yesterday evening and we couldn’t be more in love! Thank you Lord,” Alex shared alongside a series of sweet photos of her newborn son.

The photos show baby Charlie wearing an adorable monogrammed outfit as his parents celebrate the newest addition to their family.

Alex and Mauricio Are Now Parents of Two

The arrival of Charlie comes several months after Alex and Mauricio announced that they were expecting their second child.

In March, the couple shared the pregnancy news with photos featuring their daughter, Sofia, and their beloved golden retriever, George. The announcement marked another exciting chapter for the family after welcoming Sofia, their first child.

Shortly afterward, Alex and Mauricio revealed that they were expecting a boy in a playful gender-reveal video. Rather than a carefully staged production, the couple described the moment as “non-glamorous” and captured their genuine reactions after receiving the test results.

The reveal ultimately showed Sofia wearing a blue dress with a “big sister” message, confirming that she would soon have a baby brother.

Ree Drummond Becomes a Grandmother of Two

Ree Drummond has been open about how much becoming a grandmother changed her life after Sofia was born.

Before Charlie’s arrival, Ree shared her excitement about becoming a grandmother for the second time on The Pioneer Woman website. Reflecting on her relationship with Sofia, she described the experience of watching her granddaughter grow as incredibly special.

Now, Ree gets to experience that joy all over again with the arrival of Charlie.
