Nicole Taylor, one-third of the country music trio Taylor Red, has passed away at the age of 35 following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Her sisters and fellow bandmates, Natalie and Nika Taylor, announced the heartbreaking news on Monday, November 2, through an emotional video shared on social media.
“This isn’t a video we ever thought we’d be making. We thought she’d be here sharing her story of earthly healing. Instead, we’re sharing her story of heavenly healing,” the sisters said.

Nicole was the oldest of the identical triplets and was affectionately described by her sisters as their “fearless leader” and “the rocker chicky edgy one.”
Nicole Taylor’s Battle With Cancer
According to her sisters, Nicole was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022. The news came as a devastating shock to the family, who had always enjoyed good health.
Despite the difficult diagnosis, Nicole remained determined and grounded in her faith. Her response to the news was, “God is going to use this for his glory.”

Throughout her journey, she continued to encourage those around her, embracing life with courage, joy, and unwavering faith.
Sadly, the cancer returned twice, with each recurrence bringing more difficult challenges. Despite everything she endured, Nicole continued fighting with incredible strength. Her sisters shared that she was at peace with her faith and ready to meet Christ.
In their tribute video, Natalie and Nika also shared a clip of Nicole speaking about her Christian faith, encouraging viewers to develop their own personal relationship with Christ.

Nicole Helen Taylor passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 35. A private memorial service was held with her family.
Those wishing to honor her memory may make a donation to Samaritan’s Purse in her name.
