Allie Rae Brings Lainey Wilson’s Hit to the ‘The Voice’ Stage

The talented teenager from Texas took on “4x4xU,” a popular song by country superstar Lainey Wilson.

Despite being just 15 years old, Allie performed with impressive confidence and energy. She handled the challenging vocal moments while showing the kind of stage presence that can take years for a singer to develop.

The coaches were clearly impressed.

Kelly Clarkson couldn’t believe how young Allie was, telling her that she was already far ahead of the game and predicting a bright future for her.

But Riley Green, who has been guiding Allie throughout the competition, had an especially memorable reaction.

Riley Green Makes a Special Reba McEntire Comparison

After watching her performance, Green praised nearly every part of Allie’s delivery.

He even compared the young singer to country music legend Reba McEntire, calling her “a little mini Reba.”

He also described her as fierce and said the performance showed the very best version of her.

For a 15-year-old artist who is still discovering her place in the country music world, that kind of praise from an established country star is certainly something special.

Green later pointed out how much Allie had grown since her Blind Audition, particularly when it came to her confidence and stage presence.

Allie’s Journey on ‘The Voice’ Takes an Unexpected Turn

Although the coaches loved her performance, the competition had become especially difficult during Cut Week.

Riley had to make some tough decisions about which singers would move forward to the Live Shows. He ultimately selected Cade Mower, Ferryn & Brinkley, and Joe Henley for his team.

That meant Allie’s journey was put on hold — but she still had a chance.

Viewers were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite among the eliminated contestants, with one singer earning a chance to join the Live Shows as the Cut Week Favorite.

So Allie’s story may not be over just yet!

Fans Have a New Young Country Star to Watch

At only 15, Allie Rae has already shown that she has the talent, personality, and determination to make an impression.

From her memorable Blind Audition to her latest Lainey Wilson cover, she has continued to demonstrate how much potential she has as a country singer.

Whether or not she makes it to the Live Shows, Riley Green’s “mini Reba” compliment is certainly a moment she won’t forget anytime soon.
