Renovated old buildings now serve as guest rooms surrounded by well-tended flowers and trees. The restaurant offers beautiful views of the Carmel River and a sandy beach.

Despite being well-known, Eastwood prefers a private life, describing himself as “not the jolly host type.” At 93, he directed and starred in “Cry Macho” in May 2023, reflecting on his age and legacy.
