By Admin Nobody saw this Halloween surprise coming! Carson Daly just gave fans one of the funniest celebrity costume moments of the year after transforming himself into country music sensation Ella Langley.
The TODAY Show host went all out for the show’s annual Halloween celebration, recreating Ella’s recognizable look from her hit music video for “Choosin’ Texas.” From the long, wavy hairstyle to the country-inspired outfit, Carson committed to the transformation — and even added a musical performance that made the moment twice as entertaining.
Let’s just say Ella Langley might have some competition this Halloween!
Carson Daly Goes All Out With His Ella Langley Halloween Costume
On Friday, October 30, Carson Daly surprised viewers during the TODAY Show’s Halloween festivities with a costume inspired by one of country music’s most talked-about stars.
Rather than choosing a traditional Halloween character, Carson decided to channel Ella Langley, recreating the singer’s signature appearance from the “Choosin’ Texas” music video.
His transformation included a long, wavy blonde wig with bangs, an outfit inspired by Ella’s country style, and plenty of confidence.
But Carson didn’t stop at simply dressing like the singer.
He grabbed a guitar and launched into an enthusiastic performance of “Choosin’ Texas,” complete with dancers moving behind him. He enthusiastically lip-synced along to the track, clearly enjoying every second of the hilarious tribute.
And just when viewers thought the performance couldn’t get any funnier, Carson turned toward the camera and blew a kiss.
It was a perfectly timed moment that added even more humor to an already unforgettable Halloween appearance.
Carson Daly Shares a Hilarious Message for Ella Langley
Carson also took the Halloween fun to social media, sharing a side-by-side photo featuring himself in costume alongside the real Ella Langley.
His caption made it clear that he knew exactly how entertaining — and slightly embarrassing — his transformation might be.
“Love you @ellalangleymusic & I’m so sorry about this. Happy Halloween!”
The playful apology quickly became one of the funniest parts of the tribute.
Rather than simply copying Ella’s appearance, Carson embraced the entire performance, making it clear that his costume was intended as a lighthearted celebration of the rising country star.
Now, fans are curious to see whether Ella Langley will respond to Carson’s unexpected Halloween tribute.
Will she find it hilarious, or will she challenge the television host to prove his country music skills?
Either way, Carson certainly made sure she would notice!
Why Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Is Becoming a Pop Culture Favorite
Carson’s costume also highlights just how much attention Ella Langley has been receiving.
The country singer has been building serious momentum, and her song “Choosin’ Texas” has become an important part of the conversation surrounding her growing popularity.
With her distinctive country sound, recognizable style, and memorable performances, Ella has been attracting listeners well beyond the traditional country music audience.
Her influence is now showing up in unexpected places — including morning television and celebrity Halloween celebrations.
Carson’s decision to recreate her music video look is another example of how country music stars are becoming major influences in mainstream entertainment and pop culture.
And when a familiar television personality turns an artist’s music video appearance into a Halloween costume, it’s certainly a moment worth talking about.
Fans Are Waiting for Ella Langley’s Reaction
The TODAY Show’s Halloween celebration featured plenty of creative costumes, but Carson Daly’s Ella Langley transformation was undoubtedly one of the more unexpected highlights.
From the carefully recreated hairstyle to the guitar performance, dancing, and cheeky kiss toward the camera, Carson committed to the character from beginning to end.

Of course, the biggest question remains: What will Ella Langley think when she sees Carson Daly dressed up as her?
Whether she laughs, responds with a joke, or gives him a few singing tips, fans would love to see the two share a moment over the hilarious Halloween tribute.
